Below are various projects I am either currently working on or have completed. Most of the projects encompass education solutions but the personal projects at the bottom are examples of what I've created in my free time as a challenge.

Utilizing the TEKS and Teks Resource System, I have developed a robust biology curriculum that can be deployed immediately as Macro to Micro. Deployed and in use since 2019 with modifcations made for Micro to Macro in 2021. Here you can find a sample!

Here is a sample game that utilizes gamification to accelerate student review. This game allows for students to use Google Slides to review biological concepts while playing a mystery game! (Still under construction)

Utilizing the TEKS and various Region 10 resources, I developed a physics curriculum from the ground up. This curriculum was piloted and saw great success within CISD. This is easily adaptable but here you can find a sample!

A sample at home learning experience that guides learners through the process of extracting DNA from Strawberries. Students love this activity. Click to find a sample!

My curriculum development experience includes development of a full-year physics curriculum from the ground up. This was piloted and deployed in 2020 in CISD and addressed the needs of learners of all levels. I also have experience collaborating on both a Micro to Macro and Macro to Micro biology curriculum. The Macro to micro curriculum has been utilized since late 2019 in CISD and the Micro to Macro is being used in LISD for the current school year. I have also collaborated on chemistry, environmental systems, forensics, and IPC curriculum as well.

This sample training video walks users through setting up a free Canva account and creating their first project.

This sample on-demand PD video walks users through the basics of Blooket. I have created similar trainings for other educational technology platforms such as, STEMscopes, Edpuzzle, Canvas, Edgenuity, and more.

Current STEM mentor through TAMU-C and the NOYCE Scholar program. I help guide, coach, and develop both undergraduate and master’s level students from preservice to active duty educators.

I have been an educator since 2019 and with Lovejoy since 2021. I have taught On-Level Biology, Advanced Biology, GT Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. However, I am certified to teach all science courses grades 7-12. This year I am teaching Advanced and Gifted & Talented Biology.

Actively collaborating with Khan Academy to pilot curriculum, develop solutions, integrate technology, and advocate to empower educators and students all across the globe!

Former CISD Instructor where I helped develop a physics & biology program from the ground level. Led, trained, collaborated, taught, and mentored. I helped navigate LMS integration and differentiation district-wide.
